Why does KinderLyte contain dextrose?
Dextrose is a key ingredient for rapid hydration. Dextrose, a form of glucose, aids in the efficient absorption of electrolytes, which promotes quicker and more effective fluid uptake to help you rehydrate faster than water alone.
Our formulations follow the science behind Oral Rehydration Solutions (ORS), a globally recognized hydration formula developed by the World Health Organization (WHO). By combining glucose and electrolytes in a balanced mixture with water, ORS stimulates fluid absorption and helps counteract dehydration. Dextrose in KinderLyte helps supports optimal hydration and effective replenishment of essential electrolytes.
